wow, if Google Maps is to be believed, Coldwater Creek ran right behind our house in Overland! We used to explore its length when it was still wild before they trenched it into a concrete ditch.
It very well could - it's a pretty long creek. My dad used to talk about playing in the creek in Florissant back in the 1950s so it's very possible.
That strengthens the liklihood as we used to follow it for quite some distance!
